Vasilis Vasili is a Greek contemporary sculptor born in 1964. His work may be characterized by concerns and concepts such as entrapment, restriction, separation, or partition as a way of exploring, and understanding Life, his Life.  Philosophy and Art are the fields of studying Death through a better understanding of the Life we live on. 

  

His work's inspiration is mostly from spaces that were used or are used for spiritual purposes and structures in the defense system. He is also fascinated and impressed by ancient tombs as the best sources of understanding the character of the society to which these monuments belong.
